Shoes and Clothing

In the United States we collect used clothing in good condition as well as shoes and send them down via container.  While this is expensive, it is very useful to the many families in local communities.  We start with the children in our programs and their families, providing a couple of outfits and a pair of shoes to each child once or twice a year.   This is a significant financial relief in a country when a pair of used shoes for a child can cost $10 to $30.

We also do emergency relief with shoes and clothes for children and adults that have lost their homes.  The most important items that we need are shoes and lightweight coats and jackets.
