Donations are our only source of funding.  Consistent giving provides us with the assurance of being able to go forward in accepting additional children into our care.  As a business or civic group, would you consider sponsoring a child or sibling group?  The total cost of running Casa de Sion divided by the number of children is $250/month.  This includes rent, utilities, food, education, staff, travel, medical needs, etc.  This could be a Sunday School class of 25 at $10 a month.  Or one small fundraising event per month.  Each child that is sponsored allows us to look forward with faith to take another child. Consider a family sponsorship of $35/month.  This is also great for a youth group.  We will put several together to cover the total cost of your special child. We’ll send you a quarterly update with photos of the child or children you are sponsoring.  If they are old enough, they’ll write you a letter.  Or one of the staff will write one for them.  These children may be sponsored individually or as a sibling group. Sponsoring will give you first choice of adoption if the child becomes available. Sponsorship is an emotional and spiritual commitment. We would like for you to pray for your child too. We welcome any amount of reoccurring donation, because every bit helps. $10 per month - For the average cost of feeding a family in the US for one meal, you can provide the children at Casa de Sion each month with: Bandaids and Tylenol for the entire orphanage, or 2 trips for medical appointments, or one nutritious meal for everyone. $25 per month - For less than the average cost of dinner out, you can supply our children with: soap, shampoo, and personal care items, or one prescription medication, or formula for one baby for one week. $50 per month - For less than the cost of two concert tickets, you can provide for the following needs: Sunday dinners each week for all of our children, or bed and blankets for one new child, or diapers for two children for one month. $250 per month - A significant donation, which makes such a significant difference! The perfect choice for families who desire to help in a big way, and for groups of people who want to pool their efforts. This amount will provide for all of the needs each month for one child, including food, shelter, utilities, transportation, educational supplies, support staff, and a percentage of maintenance and upkeep on our facilities and equipment. For each full sponsorship of this amount, we can afford to care for one more child, who otherwise would need to be placed on our waiting list or turned away.
